Persistence
Persistence is everything. Think of the people you know who have succeeded. How did they succeed? While you do hear of the occasional lucky break, more often than not the key is persistence. It was for Winston Churchill. It was for Harrison Ford. It was for Sophia Coppola. Most people give up far too easily.

Of course, in Sir Winston's case, it helps to be the aristocratic son of a nobleman and statesman.
And in Sophia Coppola's case, it helps to be the daughter of a famous filmmaker.
